William Affleck

Biography

London painter of landscapes and rustic scenes. He often painted flowers and his landscapes were usually of Spring or Autumn scenes.

He was born in Rochdale Lancashire, studying at Heatherleys and at the Lambeth School of Art.

Affleck exhibited at the Royal Academy between 1891 - 1915; also exhibiting at Suffolk Street, New Watercolour Society and other venues. He was a member of the London Sketch Club.
