Wilhelm Lowith
Biography
Wilhelm Lowith was a genre painter. He was born in Vienna on 21 May 1861.
Lowith was schooled at the Vienna Academy and Munich Academy (under Lindenschmit). He was awarded prizes for his work at the Exposition of Fine Arts in Bremen in 1890.
The museums of Amsterdam, Bautzen, Cincinnati, Frankfurt, Munich, Nuremberg and Prague hold works by the artist.
