Sydney Morrish
Biography
Born in Exeter in 1836, Sydney Morrish was a London painter of genre, landscapes and portraits who exhibited from 1852 until 1894 at the Royal Academy, British Institution and Suffolk Street.
Titles at the Royal Academy are “Fruit” 1852, “A Welsh Interior” 1862, “Reading to Grandmother” 1867, “Homeless” 1872 and “Harvesting in South Devon” 1892.
