Richard H. Hilder
Biography
Richard H. Hilder was a landscape painter who was born in London.
He exhibited at the Royal Academy, British Institution and Suffolk Street between 1836 - 1851.
Four drawings by him are in the British Museum. He was probably the brother of P John Hillder who was also a landscape painter and lived at the same address.
His subjects at the Royal Academy were mainly views in Kent and Sussex.
