Paul Hermann Wagner
Biography
Paul Wagner was a landscape and figure painter who was born in Rothenburg on the 1st January 1852. He studied in Munich in 1875 with Ludwig Von Lofftz. He also studied with Wilhelm Von Lindenschmit and in 1884 studied under Albert Schmidt in Schafflerstraeb.
This is a truly beautiful and eye catching painting which deserves an accolade of the highest merit. The form is natural and the palette masterly, capturing a scene of homespun charm.
