Oreste Cortazzo
Biography
Oreste Cortazzo was born in Rome in 1836.
Cortazzo was a painter of genre subjects who studied with Bonnat and obtained an honourable mention and medal at Universal Exposition in 1889.
The artist worked in Paris and titles include: “Interrupted Sitting”, “Geographical Student”, “Teasing the Poet”, “Taking Leave”, “Crowning the Bride” and
“Judgement of Paris”.
