Leon De Muetter Brunin was a painter and sculptor, born in Anvers. He entered the Academy of Anvers at the age of eight years and made his debut in 1880. Brunin painted mainly interior and genre scenes and his technique can only be described as excellent. Paintings by Brunin are held by the Museums of Anvers, Munich and Chicago.
