Karl WIilhelm Friedrich  Bauerle

Biography

Karl Bauerle entered the Stuttgart Art School in 1859 under Professor Rustige and went on to study in Munich. Bauerle visited England in 1869. He specialised in portraiture and painted some of the monarchy; these being exhibited in 1878. The museums of Stuttgart and Sydney hold works by the artist.
