John Mulcaster Carrick

Biography

John Mulcaster Carrick was a landscape painter and painter of figure subjects.

He exhibited at the Royal Academy from 1854-1871 and also at the British Institute and Suffolk Street. He was a Member of the Hogarth Club, which sympathised with pre-Raphaelite ideas.

His pictures are usually small, detailed and of high quality.
