Hermann Werner
Biography
Hermann Werner was a genre painter. He was born on 25 January 1816 in Samsowegen and died in Düsseldorf in February 1905. Werner studied from 1838 to 1840 at the Düsseldorf Academy and then at Steffeck, Berlin. He established himself in Düsseldorf and became a member of the Malkasten Society of Artists.
