Hendrick Joseph Dillens
Biography
Hendrick Joseph Dillens was a painter of genre scenes in oils and watercolours.
He was born in Gand on the 20th December 1812 but spent most of his life in Brussels until 1872.
Dillens was a pupil of Maes Casim. Amongst his pictures were the titles " Scene tiree de Quentin Durward de Walter Scott " 1856 and " Episode de la Revolution " 1830.
He exhibited in London, Paris and Belgium
