Edward Charles Barnes
Biography
Edward Charles Barnes was a London painter of Domestic Scenes and Interiors, especially of children, who exhibited mainly at Suffolk Street but also at the Royal Academy from 1856 - 1882 and at the British Institution.
His work is mainly of two types, small genre and domestic scenes, and Frith type scenes of Victorian life.
Barnes also painted some Spanish subjects in the manner of John Phillip and J B Burgess.
