Edgar Longstaffe
Biography
Edgar Longstaffe was a painter of landscapes mostly in oils.
He exhibited six pictures at the Royal Academy between 1885 and 1889.
Longstaffe was a prolific painter of landscapes and woodland scenes. His works are quite often seen for sale; remaining relatively unknown until recently. He always signed his works with a monogram.
