Charles Frace
Biography
In 1962, Charles Frace spent several months at the Florida bird sanctuary of the late John Hamlet, worldwide respected naturalist. At that time he was a freelance illustrator; an accomplished 10 year veteran in commercial art. He left this profession to dedicate himself and his work to wildlife. Frace grew up in Pennsylvania and began drawing at the age of 5. His talent earned him a scholarship to Philadelphia’s Museum School of Art from which he graduated with honours.
