Charles Bertier

Biography

Charles Bertier was a landscape painter born in Grenoble on 01 October 1860. He studied under Achard and exhibited almost every year at the Paris Salon from 1880. Work included Approach of the Storm, 1900, Lake of Euchauda, 1906 and Glacier of Aletsch, 1907. He also made the ceiling in the Room of Honour at the Paris-Lyon-Mediterranean Station in Paris.
