Carl Kronberger
Biography
Carl Kronberger was an Austrian genre painter who was born at Freystadt, Upper Austria on 7 March 1841.
He was schooled under Dyck, Anschutz and Hiltensperger at the Munich Academy. Kronberger continued working in the city for some time.
The Leipzig Museum hold works by the artist and many of his pictures are in America.
Works by Carl include: “Law Proceedings” (1873); “Politicians”, “Raree-Show” (1874); “In Great Distress” (1875); “At the Baptismal Feast, Aunt is Coming” (1876); “Theft discovered too Late” (1880).
