Arthur  Batt

Biography

Arthur Batt was a painter of genre and animal scenes. He was born in Hampshire in 1846 and died in 1911. He exhibited four pictures at the Royal Academy and another twenty-four at Suffolk Street. His animal pictures in particular are charming.
